Veron, a 26-year-old Argentinean now based in Fort Lauderdale, enters with a record of 15-1-1 (10 KOs). His only loss came in August 2024 to Brandon Adams, who has since gone on to defeat Serhii Bohachuk for a second time. Veron rebounded strongly with a 10-round unanimous decision over veteran Vladimir Hernandez and now seeks to continue his resurgence in front of a hometown crowd.

Villa, 32, from Colombia, brings an aggressive, fan-friendly style and a 27-3 (25 KOs) record. After pushing Jaron “Boots” Ennis in a thrilling but punishing knockout loss, Villa was stopped again by Ricardo Salas Rodriguez, raising questions about his durability. However, he silenced doubts with a four-round stoppage of Alexander Duran in his last fight. Facing Veron, he’ll aim to reassert himself as one of the division’s most dangerous punchers.

Also on the card, unbeaten welterweight Ruben Aguilar (23-0-1, 20 KOs) from Ensenada, Mexico, faces California’s Luis Lopez (16-2-4, 5 KOs) in his first 10-round contest. In lightweight action, undefeated prospects Francois Scarboro Jr. (11-0, 8 KOs) and Onyx Sanchez Medina meet in what promises to be an explosive clash, with Medina riding a six-fight knockout streak.

Rising light heavyweight Dante Benjamin (12-0-1, 9 KOs) rounds out the card against Money Powell IV (13-2, 8 KOs) over eight rounds.
